Jackpot Party has now become Slots Magic
Jackpot Party is somewhat unusual in that it’s a casino run by the company that makes the gaming software. It’s not just any old software though; WMS (the company that runs Jackpot Party) are one of the largest manufacturers of video slot machines in America – to give you an idea, the company is (at the time of writing) in the process of being acquired by Scientific Games for ~$1.5 billion! But enough of that – onto the review!
Main Licence:- Alderney
Independent Certifications:- TST
We’ll start by considering the intangible security that you have by dealing with a reputable company. As noted in the Overview to this review, the casino is operated by WMS, one of the largest producers of video slots that are in casinos all over the world. This means that they’ve got access to a huge library of popular slots that will be familiar to many casino goers. Knowing that this behemoth of a company is behind the casino certainly means you can be more confident about playing there.
So, what about licencing? Jackpot Party is regulated by Alderney’s Gambling Control Commission, home to many other top names in the online gambling world; including the likes of PaddyPower, IGT, Rank (Blue Square & Grosvenor casinos) and many more. As you might be able to tell from the names we’ve mentioned, Alderney is a well-regarded online gaming jurisdiction (even if you’ve never heard of the island!). Clicking through to the Commission’s homepage, you can find in detail all the procedures that the casino has to go through in order to get certified – it’s not easy!
Jackpot Party also have independent certification from TST Global, which adds an additional level of comfort as a user of their software.
Main Software:- WMS
Other Services:- Instant Play Casino
As noted earlier in the review, Jackpot Pary is powered by WMS’s casino software. This means they have exclusive access to their library of games that are in place in real world casinos all over the planet. These include slots such as Star Trek and the Wizard of Oz, as well as table games like roulette and blackjack.
At the moment, the casino is just a pure casino. There are no Bingo or Poker rooms, nor any sports betting, so if you’re wanting a comprehensive offering, then *waves hand like a jedi* this isn’t the casino you’re looking for.
WMS has a mobile casino set for launch in “Autumn 2013” so, that should be any time now then!
Jackpot Party only supports a limited number of payment options. Major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard and Maestro) are supported, as are NETeller and Skrill, but that’s pretty much it. However, with the casino being focused on the UK market (see below), these should be more than adequate for most people’s needs.
Withdrawals are “normally processed and sent within 24 hours”, after which you’re in the hands of whichever method you’ve chosen – some of these can take 3-5 days to process.
Currently, only players from the UK, Ireland, Iceland, Finland, Sweden and Luxembourg can open an account at Jackpot Party.
Customer Support Team Availability:- 7 days a week, 9am to midnight GMT
You can get in touch with the customer support team via email, live chat and phone. They'r pretty friendly (as you'd expect!) and we managed to get through to one of the team on the live chat within seconds of clicking the link.
There's a standard 'comp' points type scheme in operation, but earn over 20,000 points, and you'll be eligible for "The Awesome Club" - Jackpot Party's VIP scheme.
Once a member, you'll have no daily deposit cap, earn triple points and have access to exclusive promotions, invitations to events and more.
Jackpot Party has a lot to offer – with the added incentive of exclusive access to WMS slots that you’ll find in real world casinos such as the MGM Grand and Caesar’s Palace. Limited market, however, if you are based in the US or Canada, you can still sign up to play for free (at least until they change the rules over there!)
