Bloodsuckers is a slot from Net Entertainment with a vampire theme, though (thankfully?) not the sparkly twilight kind! There are two groups of symbols in the game – a range of items deadly to vampires including holy water, garlic, a bible and a silver-tipped crossbow; and 4 different vampire stereotypes, of course the vampires are worth more than the items that can kill them.

There are 25 lines to bet on, each with a max of 4 coins per line which in turn can be set to values ranging from 0.01 to 5, resulting in a maximum bet per spin of 500 of your chosen currency. As standard with Net Entertainment, there is an excellent Autoplay mode, however, no gamble option for your wins.

Wild – This symbol is of a vampire about to bite the neck of his victim – if it’s used to complete a payline, you’ll be treated to a short animation of the vamp making the bite. It can substitute for any other symbol within the game apart from the scatter and bonus game symbols.

Scatter – The scatter symbol is a screaming vampire bride. Three or more of these appearing anywhere in the playing area will award you 10 free spins. All wins in the free-spins are x3

Bonus – A coffin with a stake and a hammer to drive it in, is the bonus symbol. Get 3 or more of these (in order) on an active payline and the bonus game is triggered. This does seem to activate fairly often, though we might have been on a lucky streak!

Bonus Game

The bonus feature sees you choosing coffins to open – if there’s a vampire in it, you’ll stab it with a stake and kill it to get a bonus amount, with quite a satisfying stabby noise we might add. On the other hand, if it’s empty, the feature ends and you’re back to the main game. You can get some relatively large wins here – we’ve seen up to 6,000 for a single vampire and it may go bigger.

With what feels like relatively frequent wins and bonus game triggerings (if that’s even a word) – you can keep playing this one for quite some time on a reasonable budget. Net Entertainment may not yet be one of the big boys like Microgaming or Playtech, but they certainly can put a good slot together, and this one is definitely worth a go!
