Wacky Wedding Slot
Wacky Wedding – Video Slot Review
Complete with a beautiful bride, nervous groom, in-laws and a huge cake, Rival’s newest slot; Wacky Wedding; will have you toasting to your wins!
This twenty line, five reel video slot can be enjoyed for as little as a penny per line up to ten cents per line with a maximum of ten coins per line bet. It features a progressive jackpot, a free spin feature, a bonus feature and an expanding wild symbol.
There are a total of eight symbols in the game during regular play. Each symbol requires a minimum of three on a payline to be awarded a win. The highest paying symbol of the game is the bride. Get five brides on a payline and you will be awarded 750 coins. If you get five diamond rings on a payline you will be awarded with the progressive jackpot win. When four or more of the same symbol appears on a payline, the symbol’s persona becomes full size and animates in front of the screen for you (a nice little addition to the game that adds some interest).
The wild symbol of the game is the wedding cake. It substitutes for all other symbols with the exception of the scatter and bonus symbols to complete a win. The wild symbol appears on reel three only and expands upward in helping you complete a winning combination.
The Bouquet Bonus is triggered when three or more of the bride’s bouquet appears anywhere on your screen. The screen changes to the bride standing before her guests waiting to toss the bouquet. A directional arrow moves from left to right. Click “Toss” to have her toss the bouquet and be awarded your bonus win according to who catches the bouquet.
The scatter; champagne symbol; will trigger ten free spins for you if three appear anywhere on your screen. Four scatters will award you twenty free spins and five will give you seventy-five free spins. All free spins carry a three time multiplier. The free spin feature can be re-triggered during free spin play.
Beginning with $50, I played this slot at $1.00 per spin playing 20 lines at a penny per line and five coins per line. On my fifth spin of the reels the bonus feature was triggered and my win was $12. Two spins later it triggered again awarding me an $8 win and then the next regular spin it triggered again giving me a $10 bonus win. It hit a fourth time as well for me and awarded me a win of $13. After that, I continued on for 15 more spins at $1.00 per spin. During my $1/spin play, the wild symbol completed eight winning combinations for me as well. My highest win during regular play within 34 total spins at this value was $3.85, and that happened twice.
I continued play on this slot after increasing my bet to maximum coins (10 per line), now playing at $2 per spin. Within a total of 65 spins, the wild symbol completed a total of 8 winning combinations for me and the free spin feature was triggered once then re-triggered during free spin play. I left the slot having a zero balance after the 65th spin, but enjoyed my playtime!
This slot has a lot to offer regarding features but is lacking in graphic quality in my opinion. I’d love to see the graphics more crisp and vibrant in color as opposed to the dull/drab look as they are now. I like the expanding wild, bonus and free spin feature a lot but the payscale doesn’t really impress me (Rival’s payscale generally does run on the low-paying side).
I believe the “trick” to winning on this slot is to know when to walk away….obviously while you’re ahead … as it tended to “run cold” after my $1 per spin playtime. All in all, I liked this slot and will play it again on my next visit to a Rival casino.
